Who this applies to
- Visitor You are reading this page and are not signed in. Almost everything below is about you, and there is not much of it.
- Member You have been invited to the private organisation that controls access, and you have signed in. A separate notice covers what is in the application and how your own contributions are handled.
Who is responsible
An individual. Not a company, an institution or an employer.

What is collected when you visit this page
No forms, no accounts, no comments. There is nothing here to submit.
No analytics, no advertising tags, no tracking pixels and no cookies. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font provider, so loading the page does not fetch anything from a third party on your behalf.
This server keeps no record of your visit. The access log is not shortened or trimmed of addresses; it is switched off. The only log the page can write is for serious faults, and because the site is delivered through Cloudflare, the address in it is Cloudflare's rather than yours.
Cloudflare does see the connection, and handles your IP address in order to deliver the page and to absorb attacks. That happens on my instruction, which makes it my responsibility to tell you about, on the basis of a legitimate interest in the site staying up and reachable. It is the only point at which visiting this page is recorded anywhere, it is not profiled, not combined with anything else and not shared, and I hold no copy of it.
Is the application the same?
Not quite, and the difference is worth stating rather than glossing. The application is a live service, and its web server keeps ordinary request logs the way any web server does: a time, an address, a page. What it does not record is the content: not the questions members ask it, not the answers it gives back.
Members get the detail, including how long those logs are kept, in the separate notice they read before signing in.
Who else is involved
- CloudflareNetwork and DNS for this site, and inbound email for the address above.
- HetznerThe server, in Falkenstein, Germany.
- GoogleReceives email sent to the address above.
- GitHubSign-in and access control for the application.
- AnthropicGenerates answers inside the application.
If you are only visiting this page, GitHub and Anthropic are not involved. They come into it once someone signs in.
Some of these operate internationally, so handling may take place outside the EU under the transfer arrangements those companies publish. The server itself is in Germany.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to it being kept. Write to the address above. No charge, no form.
For a visitor to this page the answer is usually short, and it is the same answer either way: I hold nothing about you. What exists sits with Cloudflare, described above, and a request sent to me will get you a straight account of it.
You can also complain to the data protection authority in the country you live in.
Changes
